Road Bike Fit
My goal is for you to feel so balanced on your bike that it becomes an extension of your body—so natural, you barely notice it’s there. Every rider's posture and movement patterns are unique, which is why I use a dynamic bike fitting process.
It's essential to observe how your body responds in real time as you pedal and engage with your bike. Throughout the fit, we’ll vary resistance levels to see how your muscles, tendons, and ligaments respond under different loads. A static measurement simply can't capture these dynamic changes and would fall short of accurately reflecting your position while riding.
Using the Retül system, we capture approximately 500 data points per second as you pedal. This high-resolution motion capture allows us to identify your most efficient and comfortable position with precision.
Triathlon / Time Trial Fit
As a triathlete, the primary goal of a bike fit isn’t just to improve your bike split—it’s to set you up for a strong run.
Whether you're racing a sprint or an Ironman, my job during your fit is to support your performance across all three disciplines, ensuring you reach the finish line feeling strong. You could have the fastest bike split on the course, but if you’re cramping and fatigued during the run due to an inefficient fit, that time gain becomes irrelevant.
My priority is to position you biomechanically efficiently—aligning your body in a way that allows for natural, neutral movement. When your bike fit supports your physiology, you’re far more likely to feel good coming off the bike and onto the run.
It’s not just about achieving an aggressive aerodynamic position. While a flat back and tucked posture might look fast, it’s only effective if it’s sustainable. Riding on your base bars for half the race due to discomfort isn’t aero. I'd much rather place you in a slightly less aggressive position that allows you to stay consistently in your aero bars, stay mentally focused, and feel confident for the duration of the ride.
Ultimately, comfort, efficiency, and sustainability lead to better performance—and a better overall race experience.
Pre Purchase Fit
Looking to buy a new bike? Let’s make sure it’s the perfect fit—right from the start.
With a pre-purchase fit, you’ll be set up on Retül’s most advanced Fit Bike, allowing us to determine your optimal position for comfort, balance, and efficiency—no matter what type of riding you plan to do. Once we’ve identified that ideal position, we’ll use precise measurements to recommend the bike size and geometry that best suits your body and riding style.
Bikes are a big investment, and we’re here to ensure you make the right choice with complete confidence.
Insole Moulding
It all starts at the feet.
Proper foot support is essential—not just for cycling, but for overall stability and comfort. With the FootBalance heat-molding system, we’re able to create custom insoles that support the unique structure of each foot.
By addressing imbalances at the foundation, we can help eliminate common issues such as toe numbness, hot spots, arch pain, and other discomforts, ensuring a more stable, efficient, and pain-free ride.
Mountain Bike Fit
Balance is everything on a mountain bike—and your fit plays a critical role.
Mountain biking demands the most dynamic positioning of any discipline. From shifting forward and back in the saddle to adjusting your balance over varied terrain—and maneuvering the bike side to side or front to back—your ability to stay centered and in control is key to performance and safety.
A proper fit supports all of these movements, enhancing your control, comfort, and confidence on the trail. As with all our fits, the Retül system is an essential part of the process, allowing us to dial in the ideal position for optimal balance and responsiveness on the bike.
Commuter Fit
Comfort is key—especially on your commuter bike.
I truly appreciate when riders recognize the value of a proper bike fit, even for their daily commute. Whether you're riding 5 or 10 miles each way and skipping the lycra, your body still benefits greatly from being in an optimal position.
A commuter fit focuses on comfort and biomechanical efficiency. By aligning your body correctly, we help reduce strain, prevent injury, and make your ride smoother and more enjoyable—day in and day out.

Second Bike Setup
Adding a Second Bike or Upgrading to a New One?
If you have a second bike of the same style as your original fit—or you've purchased a new bike and want it set up to match your previous fit—I can replicate your existing measurements to ensure a consistent feel and performance. We’ll also make any necessary adjustments to fine-tune the setup and ensure it meets your current needs.
1 Hour Follow Up
Maintaining Your Balance
Has it been a few months—or even a few years—since your last fit? If you're suddenly experiencing knee or back pain, it may be time for a follow-up. A quick check of your measurements can help identify any changes, and we’ll make the necessary adjustments to get you feeling great on the bike again.
Saddle Swap
Every saddle impacts your position differently.
Each saddle has a unique shape and profile, which can significantly influence your fit and riding posture. Swapping saddles without making corresponding adjustments can lead to discomfort or inefficiency.
If you have a new saddle you'd like to install—or a few you'd like to test—bring them in. We’ll evaluate how each one affects your position and help you determine which offers the best support and comfort for your riding style.
